Merab H Imai Imela

Merab is a dedicated Special Needs Education teacher with a passion for supporting learners with physical impairments, particularly those with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. With over 30 years of experience with the Teacher Service Commission, she brings a wealth of expertise in disability awareness, rehabilitation, and inclusion, shaped by my own life as a person with a disability. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, she has empowered countless youths and parents through mentorship, training, and advocacy for independence and education equity. Friends call me selfless and caring, a reflection of my commitment to teamwork, cross-cultural learning, and building a peaceful, inclusive world.
